Business Networking: It's About Who You Don't Know...

I'm always amazed at how many people join Fast Pitch! with what I would call the 'Facebook' or 'LinkedIn' mentality - which is to connect only with people they already know. Isn't that counterproductive to what it takes to generate new business? I mean, imagine a retailer not allowing new people to enter their store. They wouldn't be in business very long would they? The same can be said for your Fast Pitch! profile. By not embracing new connections, you may as well close up shop on Fast Pitch!

Unlike other networks, Fast Pitch! is all about 'OPEN NETWORKING'. In other words, connect to as many people you do not know... as often as you want! We're here to encourage networking and to help you generate new business.

Much like the doors to a retail store, your profile gives people a doorway into your business. The more new people you get to enter those virtual doors (i.e. connect to you), the more opportunity you have to sell them. Remember, the larger your network on Fast Pitch!, the more real estate you capture on their Wall when they login... where they will be forced to view your latest press, blogs, connection updates, tweets, and more.
